Adopt-a-DJ

Dear KRFP Listeners,

Please support your favorite DJ through our Adopt-a-DJ program! Just $10/month or $120/year will show your support while providing KRFP with much needed operating funds!

Adopt a DJ Now!

WR CodePrice and terms:
$10/month, or $120/year.

$10/month must be paid by scheduling recurring credit card payments. Or we will accept the annual payment of $120 by cash or check. Only individuals, not businesses, may adopt DJs. Businesses may see our Underwriting program as a way to support the station.

FAQs

Who can adopt a DJ?
Any individual listener or non-listener. Exception: Political candidates may not adopt DJs.

I like a DJ who is already adopted by someone. Can I still adopt that DJ?
Absolutely!

Can I be acknowledged on the air for adopting a DJ?
Yes. Just note on our sign-up form if you want to be acknowledged on the air once, regularly, or not at all. You may also be acknowledged on our website. You may be acknowledged by name only. Do not mention any business relationship, such as “Jim at Jim’s Pizza.”

What if my DJ quits?
You can switch your support to another DJ. If you are paying with recurring credit card payments, you may stop at any time. Prepaid amounts cannot be refunded, although the adopter can designate another DJ.

Where can I view information about DJs available for adoption?
See the list of adopted DJs below. If a DJ is not listed, he or she is an orphan DJ in need of adoption.

What about tax deductions and receipts?
KRFP is a 501(c)(3) corporation, so your adoption fee counts as a tax-deductible donation. If you donate $120 in a lump sum, you will receive a receipt from KRFP. If you donate monthly, your PayPal or Network for Good statement will be your receipt.

Sounds great! How do I adopt a DJ?
